There are many different ways people support Golden Ears United Church.
Finanacial support is one of the ways people offer their support, but your volunteer time for ministries such as the Community Supper and Thrift and your prayer support are also vitally important ways to give of yourself.
If you are able to offer financial support, one way is to give on a monthly basis through your bank and Pre-Authorized Remittance. You can download the form here, then contact the office to get set up on PAR.
PAR is helpful because it ensures a steady income flow that we can count on for budgeting.
Some people give using envelopes, and you can request a set of envelopes from the office if that is your preference.
Some people like to give by Electronic Transfer of Funds or etransfer direct from their online banking. If so, you can send it to etransfer@goldenearsunited.ca
You can also donate online through Canada Helps.
Other ways to give include leaving a legacy to the church including giving through your will, annuities, insurance and by transfer of investments. The United Church of Canada Foundation has a great document on on legacy giving here.
